Toonami has a lineup now for its debut this weekend.
The cartoon anime block that filled up many childhoods is back on May 26th on Cartoon Network and now it has a lineup:
12:00 a.m. - Bleach
12:30 a.m. - Deadman Wonderland
1:00 a.m. - Casshem Sins
1:30 a.m. - Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
2:00 a.m. - Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG
2:30 a.m. - Cowboy Bebop
Though a little mediocre, Jason Demarco (former Toonami producer and recently promoted vice president of strategic marketing and promotions for Cartoon Network and Adult Swim) at least acknowledges this and tells fans to not be that discouraged.
“Something you should know about THIS Toonami: We have very, very little $$. This experiment will need ratings success to receive more funding for new shows, more [mascot character] Tom animation, etc. I’m thankful for the $$ we’ve gotten, but it isn’t a lot.”
So if fans watch the program, ratings go up, Toonami gets more money, and bang! More cool shows.
So… guess what’s coming back in three days?
I heard from the latest update that Kanto’s gym leaders will be in the game. Including a “world tournament” that lets you challenge Elite Fours and Champions from the past versions. Red’s not gonna be in it, unfortunately. But we got someone cooler instead. Nigga, we get to battle Gary mother-fucking Oak, son. (For the record, Lance is in it too)
I wonder how this game will look like in my 3DS though… Hmm.
And I wish this wasn’t a promo, man. I’m getting awfully tired seeing Ash and his pointless journey of becoming a “Pokemon Master”; in which he still not yet achieved for the last four regions. Especially, him traveling to a lot of useless areas, having random troubles that are in no way connected to the story, whatsoever. So, please turn this into a new anime…
